FOR ALL SKIERS SEEKING THE BEST POWDER SNOW IN THE WORLD
The Hokkaido freeride ski tour is a 7-day trip in Japan, skiing for 5 days in the country’s largest national park, where you’ll likely find the best powder snow in the world. We’ll be based on the northern side of Daisetsuzan National Park. We’ll use the Kurodake ropeway to access the mountain and enter a vast natural paradise.
Typical descents in the area range from 700 to 1,000 meters. Sometimes we’ll use mechanical lifts, while at other times we’ll skin uphill with skis — always in search of the most untouched terrain and best conditions. Good physical fitness and solid backcountry skiing skills are required.
Our Spanish ski guides live in the region, so you couldn’t ask for better hosts. They know every corner of the area and will take you to the best lines for the ultimate ski experience.
You’ll stay in a traditional Japanese accommodation and enjoy the country’s food and culture, including relaxing in Onsen (hot springs).
