Things to Know from Lofoten Ski Touring in Cabin
A week with an exceptional guide like Núria Picas or Jordi Tosas skiing in the Arctic paradise of Lofoten. If you’re passionate about ski touring, this is your trip. We’ll stay in a beautiful cabin with a private sauna right above the sea. All-inclusive: guide, cars, fuel, sauna… a full week of ski mountaineering from the sea to the summit.
The Lofoten archipelago in Norway is known for being a magical, picture-perfect place—and for good reason. We’ve fallen in love with it, and for many years now, we’ve been spending the entire February to April season there. The skiing possibilities are endless, and we have various peaks suited to all skill levels.
The main airport in the region is Evenes, located between Harstad and Narvik. From there, we’ll pick up the vehicles and head to our beautiful cabin, which will be our base for the week. Groceries will be bought collectively and the costs will be shared among all participants.
The cabin is located in Laupstad, right in the heart of Lofoten’s best mountains. For some summits, we can start skiing directly from the cabin, while others are a 15–25 minute drive away. We’re about 20 minutes by car from Svolvær, the capital of Lofoten, which has a wide variety of restaurants to visit.
You can either book an individual spot and join an open group or form your own private group of friends—maximum capacity is 7 people plus the mountain guide. We organize the weeks according to levels and goals. If you’re interested, we’ll send you a form to match you with the group that best suits your profile.
