Things to Know from Patagonia Argentina and Chile
This journey is designed to deeply explore Argentine and Chilean Patagonia, connecting its most iconic landscapes through an active, nature-based, and logistically efficient itinerary. It begins in El Calafate, the gateway to the glacier region, where the group meets and enjoys a welcome briefing. From there, we cross the border into Chile to enter Torres del Paine National Park, with several days dedicated to discovering its viewpoints, lakes, glacial beaches, and, as a highlight, the ascent to the Base of the Towers.
The return to Argentina marks a transition to El Calafate, where we visit the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier. Afterwards, the group heads to El Chaltén, Argentina’s trekking capital, from where we access classic trails leading to Laguna de los Tres, Cerro Torre, and the Pliegue Tumbado Viewpoint.
This trip is aimed at people with good general fitness and previous mountain experience, who seek an active and unhurried approach to the great icons of Patagonia. It is not a mass-market or conventional tour: the focus is on intimate contact with nature, teamwork, and group spirit.
With logistics that optimize time without losing the essence of the experience, and accompanied at all times by a local guide, this route offers access to some of the planet’s most extreme and awe-inspiring landscapes, blending physical effort with contemplation and learning. A complete journey for those who want to experience Patagonia by walking, observing, and feeling.
