Things to Know from Psicobloc in Mallorca with sailboat
This psicobloc sailing trip is for people who want to enjoy or try this type of climbing in the place where it originated, Mallorca.
Known in English as Deep Water Soloing, it is a climbing discipline that involves climbing routes without ropes over the sea, with a certain height. One of the island’s pioneers in this sport was Miquel Riera, who began opening routes in this style in the 1980s. Years later, Chris Sharma met Miquel Riera and achieved the great feat of opening Es Pontàs in 2006. On this 7-day trip, we will depart from Palma de Mallorca heading east, to the area of coves which has the highest number of routes to enjoy this sport.
Es Pontàs, Cala Mitjana, Sa Nau, and Cala Figuera will be some of the sectors we can enjoy.
With a spacious and comfortable sailboat with a professional skipper, we will move throughout the area, spending most nights anchored in idyllic coves right by the climbing sectors for the next day.
