Itinerary - Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp
Things to Know from Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp
This route takes you to the Annapurna Base Camp, at the foot of the south face of Annapurna (8091m), an impressive and almost mystical place also known as the Annapurna Sanctuary.
A moderate difficulty trek (suitable for anyone used to hiking in the mountains), allowing you to reach the foot of an eight-thousander quickly and without many acclimatization problems (we will reach 4,130m). Additionally, you will discover all the landscapes of Nepal, passing through lowland villages and their rice terraces to glaciers, offering stunning mountain views.
You will also get to explore Pokhara, Nepal’s second-largest city, which I dare say is the most beautiful, peaceful, and spiritual.
You can gaze up at Machhapuchare (6993m), the mountain of the god Shiva, considered one of the most beautiful and sacred mountains in the world (climbing it is forbidden).
This area is known for its rich biodiversity, with trekking to Annapurna Base Camp or the Annapurna Sanctuary and the Annapurna Circuit being the two most popular routes.
